An alumni of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, Ranna Gill launched her eponymous label 'RANNA GILL' two decades ago. As a leading pret label with international acclaim, the brand is synonymous with style and panache and is dedicated to the modern woman of today.
As a wife, a mother, a daughter and a businesswoman, Ranna's journey has been one filled with incredible achievements, a powerful narrative and is a source of inspiration to many. Showcasing the very best in runway fashion, the brand has a large network of directly operated stores pan India and retails through Anthropologie, globally.
During her time in FIT, New York, Ranna drew inspiration from the Upper East Side boutiques and culinary corners as well as her mornings spent in the Chelsea Flower Market and trips to the local cinema. Her time working with Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren helped bridge the distance between home back in India, and home in New York City.
As a founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), Ranna Gill is considered a pioneering member of the Indian fashion fraternity. She is seen as a futurist, someone who believes in the power of thinking beyond her years, on a global level. This made 'RANNA GILL' more than an Indian apparel brand, and today, she has carved a niche for herself as a worldwide label retailing in Indo-Western collections including blouses, dresses, maxis and evening gowns.
In 2012 Ranna’s husband, Jason Holland, joined the family-run label and heads their e-commerce and seven retail stores in India. RANNA GILL is a completely family owned business.
Ranna is a great inspiration to those who juggle life constantly. She keeps her balance between professional and personal life and still finds time to inculcate her passion and get inspired by life around her.
